Can I cancel my booking/order?

Yes, feel free to cancel or get in touch with the venue owner directly

When will my card be charged?

As soon as the booking/order is confirmed. Depending on the venue this may be automatically, or once the venue owner has approved the transaction.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Of course, just get in touch with the venue owner to make changes to your booking.

What will happen after I sign up?

After you’ve registered your signed up, we will review your information to make sure we have everything we need. You’ll then receive an email to say you’re ready to register your venue details and you’ll receive instructions on how to set your property live on!

Will I be able to update my registration details at a later date?

Once you’ve registered with us, you can update your details at any time. For example, if you change your opening times, or want to upload new venue photos or board games — you can add this information whenever you want to.

What kinds of photos should I upload?

When you sign up we ask you to upload photos of your space. This is because customers love browsing through photos when looking for a place to play. We recommend that you upload photos that showcase both the inside and the outside of your venue. They don’t need to be professional photos — photos with a smartphone will still give your guests a good impression of the space.

What do I get for the commission I pay?

Do I have to confirm all of my bookings?

That’s up to you! You don’t need to confirm any of your bookings if you choose not to, this can be automatic - when a customer books a table at your venue, it can instantly confirmed online. This gives you the convenience of not having to check every request from every potential guest. However, if you choose to monitor this manually, you can choose to verify bookings.

What happens if a customer cancels?

You can choose to refund them, either through Meeple Market, or in person

How do customers pay for their bookings?

Payments are managed via Stripe
